How you will learn
This MOOC combines short theory inputs with interactive activities that invite you to explore soils from different perspectives.
Across the modules, you will encounter:
- Short texts, images and videos
- Hands-on soil experiments and creative activities
- Quizzes to test your understanding
- Outdoor observations and map analyses
- Reflection activities and your Soil Diary
- Forum discussions and peer exchange
Your Soil Diary can be a notebook, a digital document, or a few loose pages. It is a space for your own thoughts, questions, reflections, and insights as they develop throughout the course.
At several points in the MOOC, you will be invited to pause and reflect. You can record these moments in your Soil Diary or, if you prefer, share your thoughts in the Forum with other learners.
