Step 2: Find and choose soil organisms
Choose at least one organism from several of the categories below:
- a decomposer;
- an animal with legs;
- an organism that creates tunnels or modifies soil structure;
- an organism associated with leaf litter or organic matter;
- a very small organism (microscopic or barely visible to the naked eye);
- an organism connected to plant roots.
You can select familiar organisms or explore species you have never heard of before.
